FAQ about LED Eyelash Extensions

How Long Do LED Extensions Last?

LED extensions typically last 1.5months, depending on your natural lash condition and how well you care for them. This mainly depends on your growth cycle. Some ladies with extremely slow growth cycles maybe able to get up to 2months out of a refill.

How Long Should Clients Wait Between Appointments?

While individual experiences may vary, LED extensions can maintain their beautiful appearance for about a month. Natural eyelashes go through three phases: anagen (growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (resting), which spans 3 to 4 months. Extensions can be removed alongside your natural lashes during this cycle. We recommend refills of the LED lashes monthly.

Can I Shower Right After Getting LED Extensions?

Yes! The extensions cure in just 2 seconds after irradiation, allowing you to shower or use the sauna immediately after your treatment.

Can I Participate in Hot Yoga or Go Swimming?

You can enjoy swimming right after your session since the extensions cure almost instantly. They are also highly resistant to sweat, making them ideal for fitness enthusiasts.

How Should I Cleanse My Face?

To prolong the life of your extensions, use gentle cleansing methods (oil cleansers are now acceptable with this new application method). When drying your face with a towel, be careful to avoid snagging the lashes.

Is the Gel Adhesive Safe for My Eyes?

The adhesive used is compliant with safety standards. However, allergic reactions can occur in rare cases, particularly for those with weakened immune systems. If you’re feeling unwell, we recommend postponing the treatment. During application, your eyes will be closed, and a protective tape will be placed on your eyelids. Please contact us directly on 0439369908 to organise a patch test if you are unsure.

Will LED Extensions Harm My Natural Lashes?

The extensions are designed to be lightweight and flexible, so you shouldn’t feel any strain on your natural lashes. However, avoid pulling on the extensions or using an eyelash curler, as this can cause damage.

Can I Get LED Extensions if I Have Few Natural Lashes?

Yes, LED extensions can be applied even if you have sparse natural lashes, as they can adhere to a greater number of hairs than traditional methods.

Will There Be Heat or Pain During the Procedure?

You might feel slight warmth during the process, but there should be no pain or excessive heat.

What If I’m Allergic to Regular Adhesives?

While the LED extension glue may cause allergic reactions similar to standard adhesives, its quick curing time helps minimize fumes. If you have concerns, a patch test is advisable (contact us on 0439369908 to arrange a patch test)

Can I Get LED Extensions if I Have a Sun Allergy?

The light used in this procedure is LED (visible light) and not UV (ultraviolet). However, individual reactions can vary. If you’re uncertain, a patch test is recommended.

Is the Treatment Time Longer than Traditional Extensions?

The time required for LED extensions is generally shorter than that for traditional extensions, depending on the specific services and number of extensions. For precise details, please contact the salon.

Are LED Extensions Compatible with Volume Lashes?

Yes, LED extensions work well with all types of lashes, including single, flat, and volume options.

Can I Get Extensions if I’ve Had an Eyelash Lift?

You can receive LED extensions on the same day as your eyelash lift, provided you take care of your lashes post-treatment. For more information, please reach out to the salon.

Can I Have LED Extensions While Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

There are no specific concerns regarding the application during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, since hormonal changes may increase sensitivity, consider a patch test if you’re unsure. Additionally, some salons may have policies regarding this, so it’s best to inquire directly. Our salon requests a letter from your OBGYN after 20wks pregnant to confirm its safe for us to lash you.
